Here's a few bits I created in Jo Spencer's pattern workshop. Because I'm giving my London Book a 'Commute' theme, the travel cards I collect are a good pattern source for the cover and poster. We messed around with the step & repeat tool in Indesign which gave quite a nice effect; you lose sight of the individual tickets and they become a messy collection of data which reflects the commuter process of traveling in and out of London, same train, same time, all the journeys become one long train ride- you never remember them as individuals!
