This exhibition was so varied and full of interesting work. It's nice to see graphics displayed where it's not constrained to a particular format- so you can appreciate it just as a piece of art. There wasn't anything there I didn't like but at the same time I couldn't pick out something I loved over others- I like the pieces that work off humour because it makes you feel more light hearted about things. Some of the work looked amazingly technical- the realistic artwork of faces was so detailed, and I enjoyed the pieces that show off a certain media or technique, it gives them depth and texture. Something that I found kind of strange but very useful was the areas that people were working in. There was a room where some guys where screenprinting and the walls were covered in amazing prints. Another room of an artist called Rob Ryan was full of amazing paper cut out work and there was a team there leaning over desks and cutting out tiny pieces of paper with a scalpel- it looked really tricky but a satisfying job I would imagine. The studio I found most odd was of the company Evening Tweed- it was like an old Englishman's lounge with an out of place macbook in in the middle of a desk, it was brilliant.
