For Catherine's part of the workshop we were split into groups and given one of our previous workshops to explain visually to the others, as if they hadn't been to the workshop.
We didn't have long and our group was fairly big so I found it quite difficult to have a good think about the best way to do it.. we had brief discussions though and this was the result..
In Susannah's Typo workshop we were exploring how different typefaces convey various feelings, depending on their style. To demonstrate this on friday we put together three different typefaces with the same face. I think the concept is understandable but could have been made clearer with more time.. a wider variation of typefaces with the guys name maybe would have helped.
We also traced a rough 'f' and highlighted parts of it's anatomy with heavier pencil strokes. This definitely would have been more effective with more letters.
