I've never practised illustration in a big way, it tends to crop up for projects every now and then so I've been looking out for inspiration that could guide me to find my own style. Instead of trying to remake the illustration trends that are going on currently, I feel something slightly more traditional would suit me more. I find the style of drawing on this key ring very sweet and endearing, quite suitable for the child audience I need to aim to please for the OKIDO magazine project. I developed a collection of characters to use in the Mini-booklet that demonstrates the progression from baby to adult.
